Actually, I decided to use the MG 1.6s in a stereo only setup and the MG 10s are temporarily serving as rear channels (they will go into the system in my study eventually) in the HT with Vandersteen 2s as front channels (WAF, sigh). For a while however, I did have a 4.1 channel HT and I used a pair of B&K amps: a 4420 Reference dual mono for the MG 1.6s and an EX 4420 stereo for the MG 10s. They each put out 350 watts per channel, have reasonable headroom and are quite clean. I've had these amps for quite a while and I love B&K customer service, so I can't bring myself to part with them....
