I have a Mapleshade Samson rack and also individual platforms for my monoblocks. Very good quality stuff, I think they make a difference but who the heck knows. One who was creatively inclined could probably do some similar magic with butcher block and heavy metal stanchions, but it's a nice package and I believe enhances the sound of tubes in particular. As an acoustic musician, I'm very big on the natural resonance of wood and how it complements the sound of tubes.Their recordings are very natural with a spacious ambience that can be rather intoxicating. Some of the sax stuff blows me away, great soundstaging as well.
