I'm was just joking and besides, it was Duke that made me mail them off so soon. I didn't try them with any other speakers because I barely had them 1 week. (I spent more time unpacking and repacking them than I did listening :^ ) Beta testing lesson #1 - Don't give opinion too quickly or you'll find yourself packing them up for the next guy the next day.Anywhow, I think you are correct in that observation, because I can't think of any speaker system in and of itself that has the kind of bass presence a system has with these in them. It's not the boomy, thumpy kind of cheap bass either. It has tonal resonance and real life presence which makes literally everything else (re- mids and highs) somehow sound more alive.
Wonder if we can buy stock in him? :^ )
