Hi Peter. I had them longer because DUke was hoping to also ship me a stereo amp but he hasn't decided on a supplier for that component yet. I should have returned them sooner but along the way I fractured my wrist and my audio buddy has gone awol, which slows a fellow down a bit.I think this will be a great system, but not just for planar owners. The problems I discussed in my review are applicable to any kind of main speaker/sub integration. I spent half my review time listening to the Swarm with a monitor style speaker and even they sounded better with the Swarm then they have in the past with a single point subwoofer.
What the Swarm does well will be of benefit to any one wanting to add a sub to their system.
