I use 35' ICs between my preamp and active XOs. For this length you need the IC to:
a) have a low C construction, and
b) be (probably) shielded.Getting good sound from the above combination is difficult. Just using one of the "recommended" Belden coaxes may be OK as they're quite low in capacitance however, as I'm into DIY, I built mine using one of Allen Wright's recipes from his "Super Cable Cook Book".
Helluva lot of work, though, for that length! :-((
