Whoops, I missed part of the point about mentioning the Flatlines. The Flatline Desing Model 175s use a 175CM ribbon that while it has a single digit Fs, it unsurprisingly does not perform that far down due to the basic limiations of the ribbon design and surface area. Oh and while I'm envious of the Grands, I do appreciate the falsehoods that can surround a rare pair of speakers. The owners can make incredible claims and whose to be able to find a pair to listen to and refute the claim? My Flatlines are the third pair built of a run of under 30; maybe I should call them the King of dipoles despite their hybrid design?- JP
