so can an Amp or better Power cord from stock.
But my Space Tech Labs QA111 Bal. Preamp made a big difference in Bass with my Maggies and even more of a difference with my Eminent Technoloy 8a. It was close to to much bass with my ETs and it wasn't the room as I tried a few other Preamps and a few more expensive ones by Space Tech.
But the QA111 had killer Bass and because I live in an apt. I had to tone it down by doing some tube rolling with the Rectifer + gain tubes.
The designer was even a little surprized of the bass I was getting.
I should say that when I had the preamp built I used Vampire Gold Plated pure copper XLR input + outputs as well as the same for the RCAs + Furutech IEC incert.
I have found in the past that good copper upgrades can add some nice weight to the bass. But the QA 111Bal. is known to work very well with Maggies by those who have tried it.
