MGIIIa tweeter help

Got a pair of MGIIIa's that have been in storage for awhile and the tweeters are not playing at all. Before I purchase and install new ones I want to make sure that they are really bad. I've checked resistance at the tweeter and midrange fuses. the readings were .3 on the tweeter and .6 on the midrange. This was a test Magnepan suggested to make sure power was getting to the tweeter. Haven't called them back with the readings yet but was wondering if these sounded reasonable. Just want to make sure I am fixing the correct issue (i.e. tweeters were actually fine but the crossover was bad). Are there any other checks I can do to assure buying the new ribbons is the right way to go?
Thanks - I'm new to the forum and getting started in the hobby...
