I bought a sub from http://www.aperionaudio.com/home.aspx 2 years ago and I really like it. It is a combo powered and unpowered so it doesn't overwhelm the Maggies but still provides enough manly bass (grunt).I don't recall if I got the 8" or 10". I appreciate the fact they are Made In The USA, they sort of build-to-order, and send you a white glove package before you get your speakers. Although the wood is beautiful there is a nice velvet cover for those times you want it to be a little less intrusive.
Even my wife likes the sub. I can't say enough good things about them.
