Hi,
I own MG.6's. Between the Smg's and the Mg1.5's They are the grandfathers to the current MG12. Funny thing about the sticker. NOt sure, but maybe it was put over the MG.5 (1991 -1994) label. The Mg.6's had a slightly different crossover, look on the tweak/ crossover upgrade section here to find the crossover schematic.http://www.integracoustics.com/MUG/MUG/tweaks/MG05to06mod.gif
Some of the existing mg.5's were changed over after being built to encompass the newer crossover numbers. Simple mod. Mine were changed, but the label still shows MG.5 even though the inner socks had been cut to do the crossover upgrade, then stitched back up.
Call Magnepan to find out the real deal. They've been very helpful with older maggies especially if you give them the serial numbers.
