Also, this might sound like sacrilege, but has anyone sucessfully bypassed the tweeter section completly (using the x-over as is)and incorporated a different tweeter entirely? Ribbon, dome etc.The wire is so fragile and oxidized I wonder If it is really reproducing and performing anywhere near the level it was intended anyway.
