Yes, when bi-amping the 3.6R you can run any amps you want. The easiest solution is to have identical amps with the same gain and sonic signature. After that, you can only "try and apply" to see what works, and many here have succesfully mixed tube with ss, etc.

The MG3.6R biamp situation (aprox. 250Hz XO point) calls for equal powered amps (i.e > 200W per channel) for low and mid/high, which in reality means at least 400W per channel (4 ohms) for the mid/high amp if you listen loudly (or want to by-pass the mid/high fuses).

Your ownership of the Innersound indicates your lust for power. So it would be very unlikely that you would have success with the Monarchy. I highly recommend Mosfet amps. I currently use two GamuT D200's, and built a Hafler DH-500 years ago which was a Mosfet design.
