Ever since I set up my 3.6's with some good tube amps, not a day goes by when a formerly tried and true disc goes on that I think I know by heart that I hear something new on it.
Some things sound much better, some things sound like bad recordings with the new level of detail. But very revealing is an understatement.It has caused me to appreciate things from some artists that perhaps were at a previously underappreciated level. It has also made me wonder why some artists with good music can't get a decent recording.
But when I have friends over for a critical listening session, it's always, "I've never heard that part in there before".But it does make you look at your music collection and wonder what's really on there!
