I can't say if the Rotel will sound better than your NAD but I have just acquired this amp to use with my 3.6's and I am very impressed.
The amp is smooth, open and clean with a very powerful bottom end. It was billed as a high current power amp and will deliver a pulse of 50 amps short term. Maggies like current and this amp delivers the goods.
