Stacked ESL57 -- Parallel or Series Conficuration?

Hello!
Anyone kindly tell me that the best way to wire the stacked Quad SL 57 in parallel or in series configuration? Which way sounds better?
My friend told me yesterday on the phone, someone told him that the series configuration will have a higher minimum impedance (3.6 ohms)compare to the min. impedance of 0.9 ohms on high frequency when wire in parallel.
Which way sounds better?
