Re: Monoblock Placement

Most people that I know of that have mono-blocks have their amps directly behind(or very close) to their speakers, but I love to SEE my amps and tubes (mainly the lil blue light from the front of my amps and the of color blueish-orangish glow from the tubes at night time), so I set them about about a foot away from the speakers on the inside of my 1.6's.

Giving a few extra ft. from your amps to speakers in most cases should not make a noticable difference + you can always bi-wire.

Be more concerned w/ the cables, and amps/preamp/DAC,transport/TT (not in that order).

But to answer your question...Yes you can keep most amps directly(or very close) behind your Maggies.
