Maggie/Sunfire Proposed HT

I will be purchasing, at first, the MG12s (for L/R HT duty). I entend to get the CC3@2 (front center/back center) and the 1's (for L/R back).

I'd like to consider the new Carver Sunfire multi-channel amp that has 400wpc@8ohms (doubled to 800wpc@4ohms) for this configuration.

I'd love to believe that this amp will do all that I hope it will, but...I'm slightly afraid of its power rating for the maggies in consideration. (The surround processor is the Anthem D1.)

Any suggestions?
