I have the Omega IIs (I think this is the same model as the one you have), with the tube amp/interface.The incredible presentation of detail and the seemingly complete absence of overhang and resonance (notice how fast impulses, such as a "tick" on a record, comes and goes) is quite amazing.
But, the downside is that it can sound quite bright and a touch lean and dry. It makes the proper pairing with upstream components much more critical and tricky. For example, it sounded too dry and harmonically bleached with my ML Ref. 32 linestage, but amazingly good with an Audionote M-10 linestage. But, who has $100k + for the M-10? I will give it a more thorough listen with my current linestage, the Emotive Audio Epifania, when I get that linestage's sensitivity set to work with the headphone (Stax amp is quite low in sensitivity).
