Have had them forever and have tried many other headphones but keep coming back to these. Nearly all dynamic phones I have compared them with seem muffled even though some of them have better "perceived" bass. The midrange detail on these amazing. Enjoy your 007's they were one of the best models made.
Only downsides:
MP3 and some other digitally mastered stuff will sound like crap on them for obvious reasons.
They use tungsten wire for the cables because its very flexible and when they eventually break they are a bitch to fix as they don't take solder very well if at all. The replacement cables for my model are no longer made but I got lucky and found an NOS one on Fleabay and was finally able to replace my old intermittent cable with several patches.
