Actually, thanks to this forum, I've gone from mostly dissatisfied to mostly satisfied

I've owned my Maggie 1.6's since 2000. I originally had them in a large, but bad room (impossible bass). I got a lot of good advice from posters here that helped me set them up better.

Then someone here got me to try a subwoofer. That helped enormously in the large room.

Another poster got me all fired up to do the X-O-ectomy. And build an active crossover that worked a treat. Huge improvements!!

Raves about Mye stands got me on that bandwagon last year. More improvements.

I moved to a small room, too small I thought for the Maggies. The Inmates helped me find a configuration that worked in the new room. I'd even bought some box speakers and suffered for half a year before finding a way to make the Maggies work. Y'all saved me again!

My current setup is the best sound I've ever had. Thanks to everyone here...
