No, I haven't heard ATI's on Maggie's but I can't believe they were would be any inherent brightness or dullness or whatever imparted by the amps to the Maggie sound. The ATI amps are just plain old solidly engineered amps with no frills, low output impedance, excellent protection, etc, etc.
Your direct hookup situation places an essentially resistive load on the amplifiers and doesn't incur all the frequency response variations that might result from combinations like higher impedance output amplifiers coupled with normal passively crossed over systems.My cousin uses a couple of B&K solid-state amps...picked up on FleaBay for cheap with a crossover essentially identical to yours. It sounds wonderful.
