Changing the clips in 3.6R's

The three clips on the back of my 3.6R's. They look like they are replaceable easily (something I can handle). Is there a benefit in replacing them? If so, what is the recommended replacement and where can they be purchased?
It looks like all you have to do is loosen the screws and replace the existing with the new and tighten down. If it's not that simple I won't even attempt it.
