Tweeters in or out

I have been playing around with the placement of MG 12 for music having the tweeters inside it sounds more detailed, but with movies the tweeters outside sounds better larger soundstage.
Know I move them in for music out for movies. If I had to leave them in one place it would be tweeters in, just wondering if there is anything to do to get the best of both placements?
