Time for some troubleshooting.

If you have an ohmmeter, you can check to make sure the coil wires are in fact intact. Also, measure the ohms at the speaker terminals. You'll be reading the resistance of the woofer through the low pass coil. Also, maybe a broken resistor or a bad cap. (You can't check a cap with an ohmmeter -- but you can check it with a piece of wire to see if music plays when the cap is bypassed.)

These things are pretty simple -- almost guaranteed you can spot the problem in a couple of minutes.
