I indeed bought the Bryston and agree with what's been said about the amp and the maggies. It's a very synergistic coupling. One of the complaints I'd had aboutthe maggies was that the upper midrange (violins especially) was a bit thin. No more! I have an Ayre preamp and the two seem to bring out the best in one another. The amp seems to be improving with additional use too. One thing I should mention. I don't use the stock power chord. I put on a Transparent power chord which eleminated a very slight glassiness in the midrange.
