Try pushing the 'toe-nailed' staples on the front

of the speakers down to tighten the connection of the metal frame to the wood surround.

If that has no effect, I believe andyr used aluminum l-metal, bolted through the wood surround, to 'clamp' the metal frames to the wood surround. Pretty sure a photo is available on one of his posts-I'll look if you will. (-:
