My experience tells me that if you switch to boxes, you will probably be back to Maggie's at some point. I've been through several phases, but I seem to keep coming back to the Magneplanar's. They are simply hard to beat for the money. In addition, once you get hooked on that planar soundstage nothing else seems to sound quite as good. That said, I'd like to try a pair of the big Apogee's.
