But from the rear?...

Hi Paco,

Yes I saw your original post recently about direct connects to the speaker coil terminals under the tabs... But I couldn't see how to accomplish this from the backside speaker entry approach I took. And I can't foresee myself cutting into the sock fabric from the front (even if I think my rearside smoked acryllic plate is very cleanly done I can't imagine breaking the elegant frontal presentation of my maggies).

Any ideas - short of requiring micro-surgery skills and tools - how to accomplish this from the rear, up into the tab slot?

For now I guess I have to "suffer" the tinned connect distortion - darn. But I did take your approach - no fuse, fewest connects possible. I'm all "ears" to any ideas with regard to bypassing the pushtabs from the backside to extract that last little bit.

PS I'm going to give cones a try - will use the Vecteur resin cones - on my maggies atop my granite speaker tiles. Was putting it off until your comments regarding. Tx again for the inspiration.
