Yes, and at least one other equpment manufacturer; Pro-ject with their Stream Box DS. At least the Stream Box has a coax digital output that operates at upto 24bit 192KHz. Both of these products use the Stream700 module. There is also the Cambridge Audio Sonata NP30, though that tops out at 24bit 96KHz,
I think the market needs a standalone DLNA/UPnp hi-res streamer product that will feed the mutitude of good DACs that folk already own but commercially companies would prefer to sell you more of their wares.
In my context, already having the RAKK DAC, I'll probably buy a Stream Box DS. To start with I'll hook them together with a coax connection but I have the I2S interface board in my RAKK so would then look to add the I2S transmitter module into the Stream Box. However, I suspect the results would be even better if I could put the Stream700 module inside my RAKK (a la M1 Clic) and hookup its I2S outputs to the I2S inputs on the RAKK board, thereby doing away with all of the I2S interface connecting the two seperate boxes. I'm pretty sure I have the room inside my RAKK enclosure; see the image of the insides of the Stream Box DS below, the enclosure is only about 200mm (8inches) across.
