Making the Rakk dac a preamp

Helo!
I`m planning on getting the rakkdac with the active output board.
Wouldn`t it be just to make a selector betwwen the output from the dac and the input on the active board and then you got a full func. preamp?
And.. Rakkdac do have possebilietis for two rca digital inputs ?
