Wow! I really didn't think one could get 40 watts out of a 300B variant tube. You could pretty much drive ANY speaker. Opens up a load of possibilities. The EAL (Emission Audio Labs) tubes must have much lower plate resistances (I think 600 ohms) to be able to use a primary of 3K. I didn't know there were versions like the EAL 32B. I thought only the EAL 300B, 302B, 320B, 300BXLS and 320BXLS existed. I am also surprised that the 6BX7 can swing all that voltage to drive that grid voltage.If you can give us a list of the EAL tubes you have tried, and the bias points (plate-cathode voltage, grid voltage, bias current) that would be way cool.
It seems like your PP input (6SN7-6BX7) can drive a whole lot of different bias points for normal as well as "super" 300B's.
