If you mean use a gapped transformer to eliminate the output coupling cap in a parallel feed ("parafeed") stage, unfortunately the transformer then provides a relatively low resistance path for DC current to flow from the junction of the tube plate and the bottom (- terminal) of the CCS to ground, bypassing the tube. It's not obvious to me with a few minutes of consideration how that would be managed unless one were to set the CCS for the sum of the two currents. Then what about the heating of the primary winding?
