RE: What is the static resistance of the DIY supply grid choke?

since there's no answer from brian, here's my take : (1) you probably mean DCR (resistance as opposed to impedance); (2) a grid choke with around 5000 Hy inductance would probably have DCR of around 12k-15k; (3) less DCR is good, high inductance is good.
