Any Crescendo experiences?

Im interested in perhaps purchasing one of the Crescendo speaker kits. But just hoping anyone that has already bought one, or at least heard it demonstrated at DiyHIFI's store could chime in with experiences and perhaps a mini-review.

Are there any negative aspects to the sound? Ive heard some hi-eff speakers with "peaky" regions or shouty-ness. Any of that here? Is the integration with the dynaphone bass unit seamless?
