Anybody notice this problem?
With mine it is more pronounced, and I do mean PRONOUNCED, with the postive rail.
Is this a heat problem or is it caused by too low voltage rating of the capacitors?
The most distorted in shape cap is near the transformer and the transformer has been burned. The cellophane has melted and the wire is discolored.
I also have a A403 which did the same thing. My 402 I got from DIY on EBAY. I am not complaining about DIY. I got a great price but if I had paid full price I would be concerned.
Any explanation would be appreciated.
I am replaceing all of these caps with computewr grade caps of 100 volts. This will require doing away with the bottom cover but the compromise is worth it.
Bye,
Rick McInnis
