Thanks for your reply. I have read the DIY MAG from Bas and also your article a few months ago.

This modification is out of my league and I would like my Ella to be an amp on itself, without any additional parts connected to it externaly. I will read your article again to see what problems you ran into, but for me the auto-bias circuit like I mentioned before is the best possible solution for me.
