i'd like to thank everyone for taking the time to share their advice. unfortunately, the coming week or so is a busy one, so i won't have a chance to try any of your suggestions until next weekend at the earliest. it kills me to have my ella just sitting idle on my desk, as it sounded so great when i had it up and running previously. i'll be sure to post an update - hopefully no more questions :) - when i get a chance to sit down and do some troubleshooting.thanks again,
