Only, better yet - come up with a plate design and size/structure that is the same as old 50s.The current px25, 205d, and 300b/45/2a3 plates are not the same size/shape/spec as a 50 plate. (well, the ones mentioned above are not quite like their originals either, namely 45 most of all, and px25 somewhat)...
Yeah, lots of direction and griping from the peanut gallery, I know. But hell, for $300/pr or whatever they are getting for their stuff, you'd think they could accommodate at least a little bit! FWIW, for only a bit more, I had custom globe 45s done from EML completely to our spec as far as mica/glass/etc. And that was only 9 pairs!
