It didn't last long before the MKII came out. The MKI was infamous for collapsed suspensions.

When I bought my first XLM II it was pretty new and the buz was that the II would track better and was more reliable than the original. I never owned the original but the II, II Improved and XLM III were all great cartridges. The Grace speaks for itself. Ed Life is analog...digital is just samples thereof |
