Saw this today at a local record store. Same garbage in a better looking package. Reminds me of Clearaudio and Avid tables.

100? I don't know what to say...it's tempting to find out if it's real and how good/bad

Steel platter. Might that be an issue?

I think the biggest concern would be whether or not the needle was decent enough NOT to damage records.

The cheapest cart AT makes, but it gets rave reviews despite its price.
It's used as the OE cart in a number of turntables including the Rega P2 and IIRC the U-Turn Orbit, couple of the Fluance decks.
Conical stylus, upgrades available from both AT and LP Gear.

The problem is not that there is evil in the world, the problem is that there is good. Because otherwise, who would care?

Yes, I'm guilty of repeating what others have said about it (presumably based on experience). It might be just fine for some folks, but I'd expect it to sound like it is - lightweight. Looks neat, though!

I heard one of these at our only record store, and it was pretty good, especially at $169. It's built in phono preamp is a good deal for new vinyl enthusiasts with powered speakers at home or office.

Ordered one yesterday and it arrived this morning.

Weigh 8 pounds,

platter rings like a bell but the mat appears it may provide acceptable damping,

the plinth seems to be reasonably stiff.

Manual is in Spanish

I don't expect much but will get around to listening to it.

You have to lift the tone arm over the record to start the platter spinning.
