Back in early 1977 or very late 1976 an artist released an album with a curious cover. It was a picture of a room, as I recall he and his guitar was in it, but upon release they challenged the buyer: "There are x number of impossibilities on this cover. Can you find them? It was things like door hinges on the wrong side that kind of thing. Fascinating stuff for teenagers listening to Hotel california for the first time while partying with friends, you ought can inimagine.

The thing is I can't remember the artist album. They did state how many you could find. So that gave you and your friends and target.

I was just wondering, can anyone remember this one's title?

Thanks, John

I clearly remember staring at that album.

It was in the collections of friends with older brothers.

While we were trying to decipher lyrics/meanings to the mainstream FM hits in our 15 year old minds, album covers like this added to the confusion-what does this stuff mean?

At that time I was firmly established as a hard R&R guy-Stones,Zeppelin,Who,Sabbath...

This dude didn't rock like I needed. Now, it sounds like something you hear in department stores-part of today's muzak. Oh well, now I find artists such as this listenable, compared to most pop today.

With more detail the actual album would likely be easier, but I only found a few. Door hinge, ocean level not the same at both windows, curtains blowing at one closed window, curtains still at the open window, -- ?

The sash in the right window has an extra row of panes. Otherwise who knows.

Loved your description, made me laugh. Department store music - exactly.

while pushing my cart through the frozen section in the grocery store, I heard
Robin Trower's "Bridge of Sighs"

The muzak was awful according to the group of teens/20 somethings I passed. They would much rather hear an auto tuned,ex Disney star with tattoos!
