Don't know if these help at all, posted on February 11, 2015 at 18:21:34

Tough to take pictures holding it up with one hand. If there's a specific connection that you would like to see more clearly let me know.

Your pilot light retainer needs to be re-installed also. You might need to bend it so it engages well.

My RD is a project in waiting. At some point I'll disassemble it, refinish the chassis and build a plinth for it. A few other things closer to the front burner at the moment though.

Guys .. It looks as the Gates CB idler decks are equiped with the Ashland engine as well . There's a pdf file of both decks available at Vinyl Engine .. Incl. wiring diagrams . Best Paul

Hmm, good to know about the Gates. The wiring diagram does not seem to match what I have exactly but I'll have a closer look at it. I don't see a manual or schematic for the B12H at VE, I have a manual but it doesn't include wiring diagram. I'll have a closer look at the Gates though.

Indeed , it looks as Gates used the other ends of the winding current direction .. opposed to what ROK did . but I doubt if there's any difference electricaly seen . I'll check things out anyway , and will upload a decent wiring diagram to use with the ROK decks for the sake of helping out others in the future .

Thanks ,
Paul

Gee, I wonder if that's a leaky cap...I'll have to deal with that one.

Thanks a lot so far guys ! The thing is that I completely dissassembled my B12H and lost the wiring diagram I had drawn at that periode ( years ago ) . stupid me ;)

Thanks for the large shots !! I'll puzzle with it , and see if I can get
it to spin again .

O sure .. that's exactly the same 2uF oil can as came with mine .. leaking as well . that one can be swapped with a modern MKP I guess .

Thanks again !! will report later

Cool, if those can get you started, let me know anything that's not clear and I'll check it.

Are you wanting to check something or starting from scratch?

Hi Paul,

I looked in the Vinylengine library. They have a user manual but no schemo.

I have a Rondine 2. It has a Pabst outer rotor hysteresis motor. If you shoot a picture of the motor I may be able to tell if it is similar.
