For those of us seeking preampflifiers with variable playback phono curves (i.e. non-RIAA) like the Scott 130, does anyone know if these were ever manufactured for 220 volts, or if they can be easily converted? If not, can someone suggest a good vintage tube preamp made in Europe (50's, 60's) with variable phono playback? The Scotts had another of valuable fetures, including stereo/mono switch, different playback options including RIAA, even phase switch, but Ive never come across one that wasn't strictly 110. Anyone advice/proposals gratefully welcomed, thanks in advance! |
