Hello,

I have a set of Quad II amps with GEC KT66 tubes that I want to sell but need advice. Would I be increasing or decreasing their value if I updated the power connection to IEC input and upgraded the RCA and binding posts? It is such a classic and such classics tend to be loved as-is so I'm not sure what the market wants.

Thank you!

I'll do as you suggest and sell as-is.

Munging any amp will typically reduce price !
What you think is a feature might not be in the potential buyers eyes.
A classical amp such as the quad II is well documented, any
changes that is not well documented will make harder for any future owner.
