![]() I cooked a channel in my dac output doing something I realize was very wrong. Stereo Y cable from the RCA outputs on the Dac to mini plug mic-in jack on a laptop. Worked before on other computers but I think I got mixed up and was likely using stereo line-in on those and the laptop only has the mic-in. The mic-in jack on the laptop likely mono to boot. One channel works fine but the other is very faint. Hoping to just replace the existing burnt ones first with equivalents just to see if I can get it working again. (Maybe opamp rolling down the road.) Already removed the 2 burnt opamps from the PCB. Long story short I thought ordering replacements would be easy. But there are a lot of part number extensions and variations that are confusing me. So I don't know what to order? If anyone can help that would be great. I usually order from Digi-Key or Mouser bit not critical. I know Partsconnexion here in Canada appear to be for the upgrade path. Jonesy "I know just enough to get into trouble. But not enough to get out of it." ![]() |
