My Outlaw RR2150 has a motorized 120K volume pot that cuts out in the right channel. By aggressively rotating it I can restore the sound temporarily, sometimes for days. When the chassis mount eventually became loose, I finally took it out and cleaned and lubed it with CRC and Deoxit D5, but the problem persists. The assembly is mounted on a circuit board with dedicated connectors,. As I didn't want to mess with or disassemble anything else, I just cleaned the pot.

At this point, I would like to replace just the 120K pot without returning it to Outlaw for repair which is likely to cost $200+. My question is, to maintain the motorized remote function does this require a special 'geared' pot or is it likely the existing gearing can be adapted to a replacement pot? I've never seen a pot with gearing on the backside, for sale. I found no markings anywhere and could not tell who the the manufacturer of the pot is. Thanks in advance!
