....is purchasing Jensen Capacitors, as just announced on their Facebook page.

"Founded in 1917 Tobias Jensen Productions was a powerhouse in the early days of audio/visual manufacturing in Denmark. Their creation of the Jensen Capacitors brand was instrumental both in the research of Mr. Steen Duelund and later the creation of Duelund Coherent Audio. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Bjørn Jensen and Mr. Hans Jørgen Jensen for the opportunity to secure their audio production line, so we are able to continue this legacy."

 Never been a fan of Duelund. Always thought they were full of it.

On the contrary, always thought Jensen were the real deal.

 Yep....they are "full of it"....full of thick potting material, as evidenced by their size.

I have no horse in this show, but quite a large number of aficionados swear by their sonic qualities. As in most things audio, personal preference rules.

Agreed. I have several Jantzen coils, all well made and affordable. I find them notably superior to stock parts sound-wise.

I can't comment on Dueland parts as they're beyond my means but I hope the company keeps the Jantzen range available at something close to the old prices. Whatever, best wishes to former staff.

What makes me blush is that (a) I knew that and (b) I looked at both companies web sites before commenting. Getting old . . . :<(

I don't even know the Jensen parts though they seem to have a good reputation.
