Simple repair?

My Mac MR71 has a loose output jack.

How the heck can the hex nut be tightened without unsoldering connection, and then manage to slip whatever(socket, needle nose pliers?) to actually get the job done?

Naturally, with the vertical orientation of the jacks, its the negative post on top, and when flipped upside down, its now even tougher to access.

Yes! Was able to work some extra long needle nose pliers in that tight area.

dirtyvinyl	Thanks for the response. I have a limited toolset, so I will head over to the hardware store and look for some extra long , maybe angled needle nose pliers.
