Doubt it with all the compression that is typically used in digital broadcasts. Hopefully this isn't a trend.

However, to put this in perspective, Norway was probably the first nation on earth to begin transitioning to digital radio; this is the result of a process started 20+ years ago and to Norwegians, is no surprise whatsoever.
