I have come into possession of a large number of Japanese 6RR8C tubes. Does anyone know anything about these? Are they the equivalent of a better known tube? That has been hard for me to figure out from the web. Thanks.

These seem to be the equivalent of 404A / 5847.

Thanks. I wonder if it has the same pin connections and specs.

Hi Everyone,

These tubes are still sitting around after many years. They are not dual triodes, as some claim that they are 5670. Could anyone confirm that they are 5847?

Thanks again,
David

NEC 1966 tube data book, on Frank Philipse's site, shows it as a pentode, equivalent to 404A. Heater on pins 3 & 9.
